Terms of Service for Nexsuite
Last updated: May 28, 2024
Welcome to Nexsuite ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and the NEXUS AI platform (collectively, the "Service"). By using our Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Your Account
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
2. Description of Service
Nexsuite provides an AI-powered financial platform designed to automate bookkeeping, provide financial insights, and simplify tax preparation for businesses and individuals. Our core AI, "NEXUS," performs tasks such as:
- Extracting data from receipts and invoices.
- Matching transactions from connected bank feeds.
- Automatically categorizing expenses.
- Generating financial reports and summaries.
3. AI and Autonomy Levels
A key feature of our Service is the ability for you to control the level of automation performed by the NEXUS AI. As detailed in our Trust Center, you can choose from several "Autopilot Controls":
- The Assistant: The AI extracts and prepares data, but you must manually approve every transaction before it is recorded in your books.
- The Co-Pilot (Default): The AI automatically records transactions it recognizes with high confidence (e.g., recurring software subscriptions) and leaves new or ambiguous transactions for your approval.
- The Autonomous CFO: The AI automatically records any transaction it has over a 90% confidence score for. You are only prompted to review anomalies.
You are solely responsible for the Autopilot level you choose and for reviewing the accuracy of the AI's work. While we strive for high accuracy, Nexsuite is not liable for any errors, omissions, or financial discrepancies that may result from automated processing. Regular review of your financial records is your responsibility.
4. Data and Permissions
To function, our Service requires access to your financial data. By connecting your email or bank accounts, you grant us permission to access this data on a 'Read-Only' basis for the sole purpose of providing the Service. Our data handling practices are described in detail in our Privacy Policy.
You can manage and revoke these permissions at any time through the application settings or in the Trust Center.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Our Service is offered on a subscription basis. All subscriptions begin with a 30-day free trial. You must provide a valid payment method to start the trial, but you will not be charged until the trial period ends. You can cancel your subscription at any time.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is." Nexsuite is a tool to assist you with your financial management; it is not a substitute for professional financial or tax advice. We do not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice. You are ultimately responsible for your business's financial accuracy and compliance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nexsuite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.
7. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by using the "Unsubscribe & Delete Data" feature in the Trust Center. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
